    ("TGE" or "the Company")

    Pursuant to Rule 17 of the AIM Rules, TGE announces that it was today notified that on Wednesday 7 January 2009, Gas Fin Investments
S.A. (which is part of the Gas Fin Group of companies controlled by Vladimir Puklavec), purchased 41,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a
price of GBP20.25 per ordinary share.  The Gas Fin group of companies is now beneficially interested in the ordinary share capital of the
Company as follows:
