                Change of Name and Announcement of Share Split

The Directors are pleased to announce that the Company's name has been changed
to Australian Sapphire Corporation effective immediately.

The Directors announce that the ordinary share par value in the company has
been changed from a par value of $0.01 to a par value of $0.001.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue has increased from 16,000,250 to
160,002,500.

The total number of authorised shares has changed from 50,000,000 to
500,000,000

The new ISIN for the amended shares is CA05257Y1043

The Directors also announce the closure of two non-trading subsidiaries, New
England Blue Limited and Australian Sapphire Distributers Limited.
