    SectorGuard plc, the AIM listed total security solutions group, has created a unique programme between UK and USA security personnel,
aimed at introducing an exchange of "best practice" from each country and heightening awareness of the profession and the role security
officers play in their respective communities. 

    Known as the Sectorguard Anglo American Exchange ('SAAE'), the scheme enables two private security officers from each side of the
Atlantic to spend a week shadowing their counterparts abroad and experience the differences between operating as a security professional in
the UK and US first hand. The best practice methodology generated from the scheme will be shared with interested parties throughout the
industry.

    On 7th July 2008 the US SAAE officers began their programme in London, meeting Home Office Minister Vernon Coker MP and Mike Bowron,
Commissioner of the City of London Police. The officers also spent time information gathering at several sites around the capital including
the Tower of London, Harrods and University College London. The UK representatives of the scheme will travel to the US in October 2008.
