The  Board  of Private Investors Capital Trust plc has declared a final  interim
dividend  of 1.4p per ordinary share which will be paid on 19 November  2004  to
ordinary shareholders, and bondholders who have exercised their right to convert
to ordinary shares, on the register on 5 November 2004.
