October 1997 that Peter Gyllenhammar, a director  of  the
Company,  purchased 50,000 ordinary  50p  shares  in  the
Company on 15th October 1997.

His  total holding in the ordinary share capital  of  the
Company  after  this  purchase is  410,000  ordinary  50p
shares  representing 6.19% of the Company's issued equity
share capital.
