New Star Private Equity Investment Trust plc announces that at the Annual 
General Meeting held today all resolutions were duly passed, including a 
resolution proposing that the name of the Company be changed to "Henderson 
Private Equity Investment Trust plc". 
 
A copy of the resolutions concerning special business passed at the meeting has 
been submitted to the UK Listing Authority, and will be available for 
inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is
