                Maverick Entertainment Group plc ("the Company")

                                    Placing

Maverick Entertainment Group plc, the AIM listed company specialising in the
creation, acquisition and development of IPR in children's films, television
programmes, characters and related entertainment products is pleased to announce
that it has conditionally raised #600,000 by placing 240,000,000 new ordinary
shares at 0.25p per share ("Placing Shares"). These new ordinary shares have
been placed with directors of the Company, institutional and other investors
("the Placing") to provide the Company with additional working capital to, inter
alia, complete the production of the Muffin the Mule television series.


As part of the Placing, each of the directors of the Company have subscribed for
Placing Shares as follows:

In addition, as part of the Placing, certain institutional investors subscribed
for Placing Shares which, on admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on
AIM, will result in them holding three per cent. or more of the enlarged issued
share capital of the Company:

Application has today been made for the admission of the Placing Shares to
trading on AIM. The shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary
shares of the Company. Dealings in the Placing Shares are expected to commence
on 22 November 2004.
