                      Posting of Supplementary Prospectus
                                        
Further to the announcement made earlier today by Medisys PLC ("Medisys" 
or the "Company") regarding the launch ahead of schedule of the Medisys Group's 
Flight blood glucose monitoring system, a supplementary prospectus (the 
"Supplementary Prospectus") has today been published and posted to Medisys 
shareholders and, for information only, to holders of options under the Medisys
share option schemes.

Copies of the Supplementary Prospectus will be available for inspection during
normal business hours on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
excepted) at the offices of Berwin Leighton Paisner, Adelaide House, London
Bridge, London EC4R 9HA for 14 days from the date of this announcement.

In addition, copies of the Supplementary Prospectus have today been submitted to 
the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK 
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility at The Financial Services Authority, 
25 The North Colonnade, London E14 5HS.
