Medisys notes the report in today's Investors Chronicle regarding its new
product direction in diabetes monitoring.  Medisys has not yet defined its
distribution or partnering strategy for its diabetes monitoring products and
wishes to point out that there have been no discussions with Johnson &
Johnson.
