           MDY Healthcare plc announces appointment of Senior Adviser



7 June 2007 - MDY Healthcare plc, the strategic investor in healthcare
companies, today announces that it has appointed June Scott as the fourth member
of its Senior Advisory Panel ("SAP") joining Lawrence Kinet, Jonathan Milner and
Brian Steer.



June was until recently Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Healthcare at Close
Investments (formerly Reabourne Technology).  Prior to that, she was a director
and fund manager specialising in healthcare at Sagitta Asset management and
Foreign & Colonial Investment Management.  She has an MBA from London Business
School and a BSc in Biological Science.
