             MDY Healthcare plc invests in Allergy Therapeutics plc

23rd March 2007 - MDY Healthcare plc, the strategic investor in healthcare
companies, today announces that it has acquired 500,000 ordinary shares in
Allergy Therapeutics plc (AIM: AGY).

Allergy Therapeutics is a Europe-based specialty pharmaceutical company focused
upon the treatment and prevention of allergy.  It has an existing sales base, an
MHRA-approved manufacturing capability and an established sales and marketing
infrastructure in several major European markets.  In addition, the company has
a number of novel compounds, which have already undergone initial clinical
evaluation and once registered, could potentially revolutionise the treatment of
allergy.  Allergy Therapeutics began dosing patients in January in what is the
world's first global Phase III allergy vaccine development programme.
