                  Publication of circular and convening of EGM


Further to its announcement on 12 July 2006, Medisys plc today announces that it
has published its circular to Shareholders and convened an Extraordinary General
Meeting in connection with, inter alia, its proposed cancellation of Listing on
the Official List and Admission to AIM, the Subscriptions by 3i Group plc, David
Wong (through MCM) and Charles Spicer for, in aggregate, 156,666,665 New
Ordinary Shares at 3p per share and the change of the Company's name to MDY
Healthcare plc.
