                                Business Update

Further to the announcement made by the Company on completion of the disposal of
the Hypoguard Business, the Board re-affirms its intention for Medisys to invest
in businesses which focus on the areas of medical devices, diagnostics,
biopharmaceuticals and healthcare, and has made significant progress towards
appointing at least one new non-executive director with relevant industry and/or
investment experience.

The Board, together with its advisers, continues to investigate whether the
interests of the Company's shareholders would be best served my moving the
Company to AIM rather than remaining on the Official List.

The Board will make relevant update announcements in due course.
