           Exercise of Employee Share Options

Medisys PLC announces that it has issued 102,625 ordinary
shares  of  1p  each  in  the Company  arising  from  the
exercise of share options (accounting for 93,220  of  the
newly  issued shares), a bond conversion (accounting  for
5,405  of  the  newly issued shares) of the  #15  million
Variable  Rate  Convertible Bonds due  in  2002  and  the
exercise  of a warrant representing a right to  subscribe
for 4,000 shares.

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for
these  shares  to  be  admitted  to  the  Official  List.
Application  has  also  been made  to  the  London  Stock
Exchange  for these shares to be admitted to  trading  on
the  London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission
to  listing  will become effective and that  dealings  in
these shares will commence on 10 November 2000.
