                             ADDITIONAL LISTING

Medisys PLC announces that it has issued 3,524,322 new ordinary shares of 1p
each arising from conversions of its #15,000,000 Variable Rate Convertible
Bonds due 2002. Application has been made for these ordinary shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that dealings will commence on
Friday 8 October 1999.
