Board changes

The Board of Macromac (AIM: MACC) announces the following changes to its board of directors:

Resignation of Non-Executive Chairman

The Board of Macromac has today been notified by David Mathewson of his intention to step down from the board of the Company, in order to concentrate on his other business interests. Mr Mathewson has agreed to remain on the board as a Non-Executive Director until such time that the Company has appointed a suitable replacement independent non-executive director. Further announcements will be made at the appropriate time.

David Sherick, currently a Non-Executive Director, will assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with immediate effect.

The Board of Macromac would like to thank Mr Mathewson for his contribution to the Company, particularly during the course of its IPO on AIM, and wish him well for the future.

Resignation of Executive Directors

Mr Oh Hong Lian (known as Joseph) has today stepped down from the Board as Chief Technical Officer. He remains a full time employee of the Company and has been appointed as Chief Executive of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Macromac Webtech Sdn Bhd ("MWSB"). Joseph has stepped down from the Board in order to focus on the development of the MWSB business.

Mr Ho Wei Lih (known as Alvin) has today stepped down from the Board as Chief Business Officer. He remains a full time employee of the Company and has been appointed as Chief Executive of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Macromac Technology Sdn Bhd ("MTSB"). Alvin has stepped down from the Board in order to focus on the development of the MTSB business.

Re-designation of Executive Directors

With immediate effect, Michael Lew and Andrew Khoo's job titles will be re-designated as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer respectively. The Board has decided to implement these changes in job titles because they believe that they more accurately reflect the roles undertaken within the Company by each individual.
