    Result of Open Offer


    Introduction

    On 16 September 2008 the Company announced an Open Offer of 745,715,976 New Ordinary Shares at 0.25 pence per share on the basis of 24
Offer Shares for every 1 Existing Ordinary Share held as at the Open Offer Record Date.

    The Directors gave irrevocable undertakings to take up in full their respective entitlements under the Open Offer, amounting in
aggregate to 244,136,280 Offer Shares.

    Results of Open Offer

    The Open Offer closed at 11.00am on Friday 10 October 2008, and valid applications had been received at that time for a total of
297,100,235 New Ordinary Shares, including the 244,136,280 Offer Shares taken by the Directors pursuant to their irrevocable undertakings.
This represents in aggregate approximately 39.84% of the New Ordinary Shares available to Qualifying Shareholders. The remaining Offer
Shares will be taken up by the Company's Chief Executive Ges Ratcliffe, who has fully underwritten the Open Offer.

    The Open Offer remains conditional, inter alia, upon the passing of the Resolutions at the General Meeting to be held on 13 October and
upon Admission. It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will commence on 14 October
2008.

    Terms defined in the circular dated 16 September in relation to the Open Offer have the same meaning in this announcement.
