Limelight VCT plc is pleased to present the Interim Management Statement for the 
period 1 April 2009 to 12 August 2009 as required by Rule 4.3 of the Disclosure 
and Transparency Rules of the UK Listing Authority. 
 
 
Over 70% of our funds are now invested in 12 qualifying British film companies 
as described in the Annual Report to March 31 2009. As a result, we satisfied 
the necessary requirements at that date and consequentially confirmed our status 
as a fully qualifying Venture Capital Trust with HMRC. No further investments 
have been made in this current period. The focus during the period has been 
the monitoring of existing investments, which are performing satisfactorily. 
 
 
All investee companies have now produced films which have completed shooting on 
time and on budget and are at various stages of post production, delivery and 
release. Two films have now been successfully released in cinemas in the UK. 
'Adulthood' was released in June 2008 and is now available on DVD. 'Moon' was 
released in cinemas in the USA in February and in the UK in July 2009 and is 
currently screening at cinemas around the country. We also anticipate the 
release of the film 'Nativity' in the UK in time for Christmas 2009. 'Skellig' 
was screened by Sky at Easter 2009 and is now on DVD release in the UK and 'Red 
Mist' has been released on DVD in the US. All films continue to seek further 
international theatrical, DVD and television distribution. 
 
 
International film sales remain challenging in the current economic climate, 
however some sales do continue to be made and we believe that our policy on 
investment valuation outlined in the March Annual Report remains appropriate. 
 
 
Income and expenses have been in line with forecasts for the period and the 
unaudited net asset value of the company remains stable at 92.24p per share at 
the end of July 2009. (March 2009: 92.14p)
