Short Notice General Meeting


Further to the recent announcement on the proposed acquisition of Oxford
Advanced Surfaces Limited the board of Kanyon confirms that it has received the
requisite consent from a majority of shareholders who hold more than 95 percent
of the voting rights in Kanyon to proceed with the General Meeting to be held on
short notice at 10.00 a.m. on 21 December 2007 at the offices of Fasken
Martineau Stringer Saul LLP, 17 Hanover Square, London, W1S 1HU.
