FIRST SUPPLEMENTARY TARGET STATEMENT

Kimberley Diamond Company NL has today lodged with the Australian Securities &
Investments Commission and the Australian Securities Exchange its First
Supplementary Target Statement in response to Gem Diamond Australia takeover
offer for certain options on issue in Kimberley Diamond Company NL.
