OPTIONS TARGET'S STATEMENT

The Company advises that in accordance with item 14 of section 633(1) of the
Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), Kimberley Diamond Company's Options Target's
Statement dated 1 November 2007 with respect to the off-market takeover bid by
Gem Diamonds Australia Pty Limited (ACN 126 838 917) for certain options in
Kimberley been today been lodged with Australian Securities & Investments
Commission and the Australian Securities Exchange.
