Appointment of Amati Global Investors Limited ("Amati") as Investment Manager 
 
In the Half Yearly Financial Report for the period to 30 November 2010 the 
board of directors announced the appointment of Amati as the new investment 
manager for the Company. We are pleased to announce that the transfer of 
management and administration of the Company has now taken place. 
 
Amati was created following the buyout of Noble Fund Managers by Paul Jourdan 
and Douglas Lawson in January 2010. Paul Jourdan launched the First State AIM 
VCT in March 2005 which is now called Amati VCT, and has also managed the First 
State British Smaller Companies Fund, now called CF Amati UK Smaller Companies 
Fund, over the last ten years. Over the course of the next six months we will 
be working with Amati to put forward proposals for the future of the Company at 
the continuation vote in October.
