                                 Product Launch



            IDMoS plc to commence marketing for CDD and CMSS devices


IDMoS plc (AIM: IDO) ("IDMoS" or the 'Group'), the specialists in disease
detection and monitoring technology, announce the first launch in the UK and
Ireland of its Caries Management Support System (CMSS) and Caries detection
device (CDD), following CE marking of the devices earlier in the year.  IDMoS
are appointing distributors to sell the product on its behalf, and in addition,
the product will be recommended and promoted by Denplan Limited ("Denplan") to
its network of 6,500 dental practices, representing over 70% of the UK dental
plan market.


The official launch is scheduled to take place at the British Dental Trade
Association meeting, the largest exhibition for dental products in the UK, at
the NEC in Birmingham in October, where both IDMoS and Denplan will be promoting
the products. Sales are expected to commence immediately following the launch.


Denplan see IDMoS's products as an innovative and developing part of preventive
dental practice, and will inform its member dentists of the advantages of
providing early tooth decay detection using IDMoS technology.
