Hyder JV awarded Environment Agency Framework

Hyder Consulting, the multi-national design and engineering consultancy, in JV with Jackson Civil Engineering, has been awarded a number of contracts by the UK's Environment Agency on their Water and Environmental Management (WEM) Framework. The contracts secured relate to modelling, mapping and data services; engineering and related services; and asset delivery. The value to Hyder is anticipated to be GBP40m over the four year contract.

Through the WEM Framework, the Environment Agency has indicated it plans to invest more than GBP1 billion over the next four years to reduce the risk from river and coastal flooding and to secure social and environmental improvements.
