The Company was notified today that Russell Down, a Director, following the exercise of various options under the Company option schemes detailed below, acquired and subsequently sold or transferred to his spouse today the following ordinary shares of 10p each in the share capital of Hyder ("Shares"):

The Company was also notified today, that Mr Down's spouse, today sold all of the Shares acquired from him pursuant to the above transfers at the sale price stated and sold a further 11,703 Shares on 3 December 2012 at an average sale price of 431 pence per share.

Following these transactions, Mr Down holds 11,686 Shares representing 0.03% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Mr Down holds vested but unexercised nil cost LTIP options over a further 63,948 Shares and unvested and unexercised nil cost LTIP options over a further 173,963 Shares.
