    Hyder Consulting PLC ("Hyder Consulting" or the "Company")

    NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS ON BEHALF OF PDMRs


    On 29 July 2008, the Company received notification from Lloyds TSB Offshore Trust Company Limited ("the Trustee"), the trustee of the
Hyder Consulting PLC Employee Benefit Trust, that the Trustee acquired via market purchases on 29 July 2008, 37,500 ordinary shares at a
price of 345 pence per share. The purchase was made in order to be able to partly satisfy awards made under the Hyder Consulting PLC 2006
Long Term Incentive Plan, including awards previously notified on 21 June 2008. Following the purchase, the Trustee is interested in 167,670
ordinary shares which represent 0.44% of the ordinary issued share capital. The persons discharging managerial responsibility who are
interested in certain of the ordinary shares held by the Trustee are Mr G Nickel (Regional Managing Director, Germany), Mr S Porter
(Regional Managing, Hong Kong/China) and Mr R Stewart (Regional Managing Director, Middle East).
