Hyder Consulting PLC ("Hyder Consulting" or "the Company")

Additional Listing and Total Voting Rights

The Company confirms that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority
and the London Stock Exchange plc for a total of 1,521,974 ordinary shares of 10
pence each, to be admitted to the Official List of the UKLA and the London Stock
Exchange for trading.

These shares are to be issued and allotted in part consideration for the
acquisition of Holford & Associates and in connection with the cash placing to
institutional investors, as announced by the Company on 11 March 2008. It is
expected that admission will occur and trading will commence on 13 March 2008.
The shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued ordinary
shares.

Following the listing of these shares the issued share capital of the Company
will be 37,696,347 ordinary shares of 10 pence each. Each ordinary share carries
the right to one vote and none of the ordinary shares are held in treasury.
Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company's share capital will
be 37,696,347.

The above figures may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or any change to their interest in, the share capital of Hyder
Consulting under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
