HYDER CONSULTING PLC ("Hyder Consulting" or the "Company")

NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to satisfy significant institutional demand for shares in the Company, 
as well as to increase liquidity, various Directors and senior managers have 
agreed to release a proportion of their shareholding.

The Company has received notification from each of the persons detailed below
of their sale of 10 pence ordinary shares on 25 June 2007 at a price of 530 
pence per share:

In addition to the above shareholding Sir Alan Thomas holds 575,473 share 
options exercisable at 72 pence per share up to 26 September 2012.

The Company has also been notified that Jeffrey Hume, a Non-Executive Director 
of the Company, acquired 10,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company 
on 25 June 2007 at a purchase price of 530 pence per share, which represents Mr 
Hume's total holding and amounts to 0.028% of the ordinary issued share capital.
