HYDER CONSULTING PLC

Hyder Consulting PLC ("the Company") announces that pursuant to the exercise of
options under the Hyder Consulting Executive Share Option Scheme (2002), it
allotted on 23 February 2005, at an exercise price of 87.5 pence per share,
1,979 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in the Company to a former employee.

The above shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary shares in the Company. Application will be made to the UK Listing
Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to
the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for
listed securities and it is expected that dealings will commence on 4 March
2005.
