Home Entertainment Corporation PLC - executive board reorganisation

FRIDAY, 12 November 2004 - Home Entertainment Corporation PLC announces a
reorganisation of executive board responsibilities with immediate effect.

Chairman, Iain Muspratt commented: "HEC has been successful, in a highly
competitive and rapidly changing business environment, because we have delivered
the best quality service and range of pre-recorded screen entertainment in
whatever way suits our customers best. In recent years, we have also very
considerably broadened our product and service range. The reorganisation of
board responsibilities is part of a natural evolution of the management team to
ensure that we continue to achieve long-term growth in sales and profits."

Anthony Skitt, Commercial Director, is appointed Managing Director.

Gerad Barclay, Retail Director, is appointed Deputy Managing Director and Chief
Executive of Choices Retail Division.

Steve Barker, Development Director, is appointed Group Operations Director and
Chief Executive of Choices Direct.

Chris White, Finance Director is appointed Group Finance Director.

Mr Muspratt, who continues as Executive Chairman, said: "We have recently
completed a major investment in logistics and systems which are already reaping
significant benefits. We have resumed the expansion of Choices Retail and plan
to increase investment in Choices Direct which we believe will be a significant
growth driver over the next few years."

Today, a new Choices outlet opens in Norwich bringing the total to 224 with a
target of 230 stores by February 2005.
