Notification of Interests of Directors and Connected Persons



The Company was advised yesterday that Brian Steer, Executive Chairman, had on
20 October exercised 75,000 share options with an option price of 110p and sold
22,000 shares (to pay the related tax and other expenses) at 230.5p. His total
resultant holding following this notification is therefore increased to 552,865
(0.67%) of the issued share capital of the company.
