GYRUS GROUP PLC ("The Company")


Director / PDMR Shareholding


The Company, a leading supplier of medical devices to reduce trauma and
complications in surgery, has received notification from Charles Goodwin, Vice
President, Gyrus ACMI Surgical Division, that on 11th May 2007 he exercised
options under the Gyrus Group US Stock Option Plan over 25,000 ordinary shares
of 1p each at an exercise price of #2.135 per share.

Subsequently, all 25,000 shares arising from the exercise were sold at a price
of #4.76 per share.

This notice is given in fulfilment of the obligation under DTR 3.1.4.
