GALLEON HOLDINGS PLC LAUNCHES MOBILE MESSAGING DIVISION
Northampton Town Football Club Signs First Contract

Galleon Holdings plc ("Galleon" or "the Group"), the AIM-quoted, cross-media
company, today announces a new mobile messaging service (SMS text messaging,
images, data, etc.) to sporting clubs, independent television companies and
other broadcast, music and media organisations. Branded Probe Messaging, the
service is marketed by Galleon's wholly-owned, direct-marketing subsidiary,
Probe Media. Imhotek, an Oxfordshire-based IT development firm, will provide the
service infrastructure. Northampton Town Football Club has become the first
commercial client to use Probe Messaging, offering a Man of the Match vote to
fans via SMS text messaging.

"Mobile messaging is big business," believes Jim Driscoll, Chairman of Galleon.
"In Probe Messaging we have the development, marketing and sales skills to
provide innovative, market-leading mobile messaging services to a wide range of
prospective clients."

Under the terms of the joint venture, each party has committed to investing
equal resources into the development and marketing of mobile messaging services.
All revenues will be collected by Probe Messaging, with Probe Media and Imhotek
recouping their respective costs.

Northampton Town Football Club became the first to use Probe Messaging's
services when it launched its NTFC Man of the Match service on September 28th
for its 2-0 win over Mansfield Town. Fans attending the game, or listening to it
via radio or through the club's multi-media website, www.ntfc.tv, voted for
their man of the match by sending a text message of the players shirt number to
a short-code mobile phone number. Each vote cost 50p and the club received 25%
of net revenues generated. As an incentive to vote, the club offered two home
game tickets, which were given to a voter chosen at random.

"The club is currently running a funding initiative asking fans, friends and
local businesses to help support us in our "Cobblers SOS" appeal," explains
Gareth Willsher, Head of Media at Northampton Town. "The mobile messaging
services offered by Probe Messaging fits with our existing e-mail based man of
the match service run via ntfc.co.uk and will bring in welcome additional
revenues. It will also provide our fans with another channel through which they
can interact with the club."

Negotiations are underway with a number of football and other sporting clubs,
while sales teams are actively targeting other industries where Probe Messaging
believes there are multiple business models for mobile messaging services.

"The success during "Big Brother 3" of marketing SMS text messaging services to
viewers has made many businesses wonder how they can use mobile messaging to
generate revenue or to market information to potential customers," says
Driscoll. "Text messaging is only the beginning. Having a company like Imhotek
as a partner means that we will be able to offer new services based around
picture messaging and polyphonic ring tones as soon as there is a user base
large enough to make projects viable. Probe Messaging is staffed by a young,
creative team and I am confident that we can grow it into a respected player in
this dynamic marketplace."
