Freeplay Energy plc ('the Company')

Director / PDMR Shareholding

The Company was notified on 4 July 2007 that on 3 July 2007 the Flambard
Settlement Trustees, of which Mr Rory Stear, a Director of Freeplay Energy plc,
is a beneficiary, acquired 25,000 ordinary shares at 18p per share in the
company.

Following this transaction Mr Stear's holding has increased to 2,363,471
ordinary shares in Freeplay Energy plc, representing approximately 4.71% per
cent of the total voting rights of the Company.
