VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 7, 2010) - In compliance with AIM rules, Eastern 
Platinum Limited ("Eastplats") (TSX:ELR)(AIM:ELR)(JSE:EPS) reports on the following transaction by a 
Director in the Company's common shares. 
 
On April 6, 2010, Mr. Robert Gayton, director of the Company notified the Company that he was 
exercising 300,000 stock options to purchase common shares in the Company at Cdn$0.32 per share. These 
options expire on December 18, 2013. As a result of this exercise, Mr. Gayton received 236,340 shares 
by way of Share Appreciation Rights on April 6, 2010 and sold 200,000 shares on the same day. After 
these transactions, Mr. Gayton holds 56,340 common shares of Eastplats.
