Proposed C share offers

Electra Kingsway VCT 2 plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it
intends to seek further funds for investment by means of two offers of C shares
(the "Offers").

As at 31 March 2007, the Company had net assets of approximately #41 million and
the Manager currently expects Qualifying Investments to constitute 70 per cent.
of the Company's assets by the end of September 2007. The Company is therefore
expected to be fully invested shortly.  In order to continue investing in the
venture capital market it is now seeking to raise up to #25 million under offers
of a new class of shares in the Company, the C Shares.

The two Offers will comprise an offer for subscription of C shares in respect of
the 2007/08 tax year and an offer for subscription in respect of the 2008/09 tax
year.  The Offers are expected to be launched by the end of November 2007.

The existing investments and cash attributable to the Ordinary Shares will be
kept separate from the proceeds of the issue of C Shares. Investments and cash
attributable to these proceeds will be administered as a separate investment
pool until Conversion of the C Shares into Ordinary Shares. Until Conversion,
the holders of C Shares will have the right to participate (by way of dividends
and returns on capital) in those assets attributable to the C Shares, but not in
those attributable to the Ordinary Shares. Conversely, the holders of Ordinary
Shares will have the right to participate (by way of dividends and returns of
capital) in those assets attributable to the Ordinary Shares, but not in those
attributable to the C Shares.

A circular is being posted to the Company's shareholders today containing
further details of the proposed C share issue and seeking authority at an
extraordinary general meeting of the Company, to be held on 18 October 2007,  to
create and issue the C shares (the "Circular").

Terms not otherwise defined in this announcement have the meaning given to them
in the Circular.
