Electra Kingsway VCT Plc announces that on 28 June 2007 the Company purchased
243,000 ordinary shares of 1p each for cancellation representing 1.20% of the
issued share capital at a price of 90 pence per share.

Following this transaction the Company now has 20,087,554 ordinary shares of 1p
each and 9,093,156 C shares of 1p each in issue.
