Extension of Tender Offer Period

Further to the announcement of the Tender Offer made on 23 December 2008 and
the Tender Price Notification and Maximum Number Notification made on 5 January
2009, Da Vinci CIS Private Sector Growth Fund Limited (the "Company") announces
that the period for tendering under the Tender Offer has been extended. The
Tender Offer will now close at 1.00 p.m. on 15 January 2009 and will not close
at 1.00 p.m. on 9 January as set out in the previous announcement.

As a consequence of the extended period for tendering Shares the expected
timetable of principal; events is as follows:

The Company reserves the right, subject to applicable legal and regulatory
requirements, to further extend the period for tendering under the Tender Offer
at any time prior to 1p.m. on 15 January 2009.
