Chrysalis VCT plc announces that it has now completed the compulsory acquisition
of the remaining shares in Chrysalis A VCT plc, Chrysalis B VCT plc and
Chrysalis C VCT plc and now owns 100% of the issued share capital of each of
these companies.

The Company has applied for 2,041 of its ordinary shares issued in connection
with the above offers to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority and to trading on London Stock Exchange plc's market for listed
securities.  It is expected that admission will become effective and that
dealings will commence on 5 August 2005.  Following the issue of the shares
under the offers for the above companies, and the subsequently announced
purchases of its own shares for cancellation, Chrysalis VCT plc now has
36,229,424 ordinary shares in issue.
