Carlisle Group Limited announces acquisition of shares

Belize City, Belize, June 29, 2007 Carlisle Group Limited (London: CXG) 
(the "Company") has today been notified that Philip Johnson, a non-executive 
director of the Company, acquired 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company at an 
average price of 134 pence per share on June 28, 2007.

His total beneficial holding in the Company following this acquisition increased
to 90,200 ordinary shares representing 0.4 per cent of the total issued share
capital.
