    Board Changes                                 

Core VCT I plc announces that due to increasing demands on her time outside of
the Company, Helen Bagan has resigned from the Board with effect from 9 August
2007.

The Board is very grateful for Helen's contribution to the development of the
Company to date and wish her well for the future.

The Board is pleased to announce that it has appointed John Brimacombe to be a
non-executive director of the Company with effect from 9 August 2007.

John is MD of Jobstream Group plc and an Operating Partner of Sussex Place
Ventures. John is also a non-executive director of Kelway Holdings Limited, one
of the investee companies of the Core VCTs.

The Board has pleasure in welcoming Mr Brimacombe as a director and looks
forward to working with him.

There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rules LR
9.6.11-13.
