PLACING TO RAISE #1.5 MILLION,                        
                                                                              
CHANGE IN INVESTMENT STRATEGY AND 

CHANGE OF NAME TO e-capital investments plc 

Cambury Investments PLC ("Cambury"), the AIM listed investment vehicle,
announced today details of a placing to raise #1.5 million and plans to give a
new lease of life to the company by changing its investment strategy to
concentrate on internet, e-commerce and new technology related opportunities.

Highlights of the proposed changes include:

The Board has secured firm commitments to subscribe for a total of 60 million
new ordinary shares at a price of 2.5p per share to raise #1.5 million
resulting in the company having total net assets in excess of #5 million.

Refocusing of Cambury's investment strategy to concentrate on internet,
e-commerce and new technology related opportunities.  Eight out of the nine
investments already made by Cambury have been in these sectors and include the
quoted companies Redstone Telecom PLC, which debuted in the LSE this week and
The eVestment Company PLC, a diversified internet investment fund.

Establishment of an Investment Committee, whose membership will include Hugh
Osmond, Chairman of Punch Group Ltd and a Director of Pizza Express and Alan
McIntosh, a Director of Punch Group Ltd and Topps Tiles plc.

Further strengthening of the Board and management team with the planned
appointment of a Chief Investment Officer and additional non-executive
Director.

Reduction in the potential dilution of ordinary shareholders by cancellation
of certain Directors' options.

Reduction in the exercise price of the Warrants to 1.75p per share.
