Dealing in the Listed Securities of Chrysalis Group plc by a Director

Mr Christopher Wright, a director of Chrysalis Group plc, notified the Company
on 4 September 2003 that he had sold on 4 September, 2003 750,000 Chrysalis
Group plc Ordinary shares of 2p each at a price of 210p per share, representing
0.447% of the issued share capital.

Before the above purchase, Mr Wright had a beneficial interest in 44,332,269
Ordinary shares and a non-beneficial interest in 520 Ordinary shares, together
representing 26.447% of the issued share capital of the Company, and immediately
after the transaction Mr Wright had a beneficial interest in 43,582,269 Ordinary
shares and a non-beneficial interest in 520 Ordinary shares, together
representing 26.000% of the issued share capital of the Company. Included within
Mr Wright's aggregate interest in 43,582,789 Chrysalis Shares are 112,795
Chrysalis Shares which are held by a family trust, The UK Wright Family Trust,
on behalf of Mr Wright's infant child.
