Board Changes

Clinton Cards Plc, the UK's market leading greetings card retailer, is pleased to announce the following Board Changes:

Don Lewin, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive, is to become Non Executive Chairman from 1 August 2011, ahead of becoming Life President in March 2012.

Darcy Willson-Rymer will join as Chief Executive Officer in October 2011. Darcy is currently Managing Director at Starbucks UK and Ireland. Ahead of joing Starbucks in 2007, he spent 3 years with Unilever Ventures and 19 years with Yum! Brands. Darcy will bring additional strong retail environment experience to the team and drive the Group strategy going forward.

Darcy will work closely with Clinton Lewin, Group Managing Director, who will focus on the Group's property portfolio, one of the biggest retail estates in the UK, and on strategic supplier relationships.

Clinton Cards will also appoint two Non Executive Directors, to replace John Coleman and Robert Gunlack, who will be retiring from the Board at the time these appointments are made. Further announcements on these appointments will be made in due course.

Don Lewin, Chairman, said:

"Having founded Clinton Cards over 40 years ago, the time is now right for me to assume a Non-Executive role. The changes announced today will bring important new experience to our senior management team and strengthen the Board.

Darcy Willson-Rymer said:
