Bristol Water plc announces that Professor David Ian Blockley, a Non-Executive
Director, retired from the Board today. Professor Blockley retires with the
sincere thanks of the Board after three years service as a Director of the
Company and a total of nine years service with the Bristol Water Group.


The Company also announces that today Sr. Ciril Rozman, a senior manager of the
ultimate group parent company, Sociedad Generale de Aguas de Barcelona S. A.,
was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
