Bramdean Alternatives Limited (the "Company")
Appointment of Directors
The Board of Bramdean Alternatives Limited (the "Company") is pleased to
announce the appointment of Jennifer L Wick, Philip Hebson, David Staples and
Howard Myles as non-executive directors of the Company with immediate effect.
Jennifer L Wick is chief investment officer and group strategic finance of
Consensus Business Group ("CBG"), adviser to Elsina Limited. Elsina Limited is
the beneficial holder of 925,000 Sterling shares and 73,488,431 Dollar shares in
the Company, which in aggregate carry votes equivalent to 28.77 per cent. of the
Company's total voting rights.
Philip Hebson is a senior fund manager in charge of UK equities at Merseyside
Pension Fund. Merseyside Pension Fund is the beneficial holder of 20,587,423
Sterling shares in the Company, which carry votes equivalent to 15.04 per cent.
of the Company's total voting rights.

Jennifer L Wick (aged 48) UK resident non-executive director
Jennifer L Wick is the chief investment officer and group strategic finance of
CBG having joined in November 2005. At CBG, she has managed over $600 million in
private equity funds, listed vehicles, cleantech investments, alternatives and
secondary private equity fund transactions and raised over $650 million of
financing. Mrs Wick was previously the chief financial officer and management
board member of Brainpower N.V., a company she took public on the Prime Standard
of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in September 2000. She began her career in
investment banking in mergers and acquisitions and raised capital for large
initial public offerings between 1992 to 2000. Mrs Wick is an MBA graduate of
London Business School (1990 to 1992).
Philip Hebson (aged 49) UK resident non-executive director
Philip Hebson is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and
Investment and a member of the Institute of Directors. Philip is a senior fund
manager in charge of UK Equities at Merseyside Pension Fund having joined in
2000. From 1980 to 2000 Philip worked at Charterhouse Securities Limited
(formerly Tilney & Co.) and was appointed as a director in April 1992. Philip is
also a trustee of Chester Municipal Charities; providing support for needy
people in the environs of Chester.
Howard Myles (aged 60) French resident non-executive director
Howard Myles was a partner in Ernst & Young from 2001 until June 2007 and was
responsible for the Investment Funds Corporate Advisory team. He was previously
with UBS Warburg from 1987 to 2001. Mr Myles began his career in stockbroking in
1971 as an equity salesman and joined Touche Ross in 1975 where he qualified as
a chartered accountant. In 1978 he joined W. Greenwell & Co in the corporate
broking team and in 1987 moved to SG Warburg Securities where he was involved in
a wide range of commercial and industrial transactions in addition to leading
Warburg's corporate finance function for investment funds. He is a fellow of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Securities Institute, and is a
non-executive director of two other listed investment companies.
David Staples (aged 52) Guernsey resident non-executive director
David Staples is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser. He also
holds the Institute of Directors' diploma in company direction. For thirteen
years until 2003, Mr Staples was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers ('PwC')
and led the tax practice in the South East of England. Since leaving PwC, Mr
Staples has been appointed to the boards of several companies as a non-executive
director. He is the chairman of MedicX Fund Limited (listed on LSE main market)
and he chairs the audit committees of Gottex Fund Management Holdings Limited
(listed on the Swiss Exchange, SWE) and Premier Renewable Energy Fund Limited
(listed on LSE main market). His other appointments include directorships of
private equity funds and a private property investment group.
