We, Redland PLC hereby request that the following Euro Medium Term Notes be 
delisted, and confirm that the note holders have been approached and have agreed
to the delistng:

USD  15,000,000.00 maturing 25 September 2002 ISIN  XS0080640831

DEM  10,000,000.00 maturing 24 September 2002 ISIN  XS0080641052

The reason for our request is such that Lafarge SA acquired REDLAND PLC in 1997,
and the financial results of Redland PLC are consolidated in to Lafarge SA  
annual results from the date of acquisition.  Redland PLC was delisted in 1998 
and the company is now non-trading.
