    Benfield Agrees to Sell shareholding in Alliance Re


    Benfield Group Limited, the world's leading independent reinsurance and risk intermediary, today announced its subsidiary Crawley Warren
Group Limited has entered into an agreement to sell its entire shareholding in Cypriot underwriter Alliance International Reinsurance Public
Company Limited to Flagstone Reassurance Suisse SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings Limited.

    The consideration for the sale is EUR2,509,848 which is payable in cash on completion.
