Update Change in Substantial Shareholder Interest

Aztec was informed by Mt Gibson Iron Ltd ("Mt Gibson") on 14 December 2006 that
its interest in Aztec is now 986,789,641 ordinary shares or 87.15%, including
shares owned by parties who have accepted the Offer. The previous notice by Mt
Gibson of its interest in Aztec, on 12 December 2006, stated that at that time
Mt Gibson had an interest in 915,949,052 ordinary shares or 80.89%.
