The Directors of Avarae Global Coins plc (AIM: AVR.L), the UK's
only publicly traded company dedicated to investing in rare and
high quality coins, were notified on 27 February 2012 that
following the purchase of 25,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in
the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 22 February 2012,
Skyhill Limited is now interested in 2,425,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing 3.0% of the Company's issued ordinary share
capital.

advantage of short-term trading opportunities, as the market for
rare coins continues to grow.
A principal objective of the Company is to achieve long-term
capital growth through the appreciation in the value of the coins
acquired. Since its formation in 2006, the Company has achieved a
compound annual return of 9.5 per cent. The Company has no
borrowings.
